  I've been coming here since 1983, but haven't been back since '92. This place has sentimental value to me. my mom used to send me here to buy groceries when I was 3 years old. When I think of the Avondmarkt, I conjure the faint smell of Gouda cheese, and a picture in my mind of Grolsch cases, and fruit tart pies.

  We quite like their collection but the customer service is getting worse (it wasn't great to begin with). The shop was quite crowded as well, a bit better checks and controls could go a long way.

  A great range of (organic / bio) products. Open every day till midnight (since 50+ years !!! ). The home-made warm dishes are very delicious and a must try. Lots of nice nuts/snacks and ice creams too. The staff are always very helpful and super friendly. It's a gift for the neighbourhood.
