::Always always always problems with deliveroo. This time was the worst. My order apparently was taken by the wrong rider so he delivered it to the other address. And the other person’s order was supposed to be delivered to my address but still wasn’t delivery (I guess they delivered both orders to the other person so I was left with nothing). Meanwhile I’m contacting deliveroo all they could do is deliveroo credit and it took them one hour to do that, which of course meant deliveroo closes at 10 and they won’t deliver anything. Will use the deliveroo credit and will never order from them again….. can’t compare it to Takeaway.

::My interactions with Deliveroo yesterday represent the single worst customer experience I have ever had with a company in any business or field. I will try to be brief and not go into too much detail. I made an order that, when we got closer to the delivery time, I noticed had a peculiar message attached to it. Apparently, there were no available drivers. Deliveroo somehow considered it fair game to take my money and promise me and my family the food we were hungry for, without knowing how to even deliver the food (this was from a restaurant in the city center that we had ordered from before, mind you). Fast forward to 1.5 hours after I made the initial order and several interactions with the support personnel through a highly concealed chat function, I was met with no understanding whatsoever. We cancelled the order, Deliveroo will keep my money away from me for 5-10 days. I assume that means a few months on a regular time scale. Obviously, I ended up ordering from one of their competitors again. And get this: they delivered on time. Never again.

::NEVER ordering from them again. We placed an order an hour ago, reached out to customer service to confirm the order was received and the updated delivery time. An hour later, they responded and said the shop was close for the day. Then they refused to refund money and offered credits. They still agreed to a refund but it was a total waste of an hour wait and 30 min chatting to them about something that was never gonna come. Never again.

::I just realised that my doorbell is broken and got in touch straight away with customer service. As I also just changed my phone number, I made sure I used the option of did not receive order and details are not correct. Even though I was on the live chat with customer service, I was not informed the delivery person was here and trying to get in contact. I was just told the person waited and left and nothing can now be done about it, so they couldn't leave it at the door, with a neighbour that has our number. So that is €30 of food that apparently I can do nothing about. Atrocious customer service.This is why you should use Uber eats rather than Deliveroo, as at least you will get your food. Let me be clear this is not on the drivers at all, this is inability for Deliveroo to understand customer needs and service them. I won't be using this service again.

::That was about 2 years ago, bit since then I never used their unreliable service ever again. I ordered food, they kept delaying it for more than an hour after its ETA, then they just cancelled the order. I contacted their support, asked about it, they say they could not find anyone to deliver it so they cancelled, I asked for any alternatives, since all shops were closed then, but the support agent just hanged up
