  With shops like this around, the real miracle is the people are still visiting Gall & Gall, not to speak of the hellish liqour stores that litter the center of town. De Ware Jacob offer a limited number of brands in any kind of alcoholic beverage. The trick is to go with the flow, heed their judgement and choose from their selection. That formula will lead to a satisfactory situation. I know, I've been a customer here for decades.

  A great wine and whisky shop with a knowledgeable owner who is also very nice, (he let me try a lot of things even before he knew I was eager to buy something).

  Requested whisky of the month and was offered a free tasting to ensure I was happy anyway. My gift was also wrapped which is rarely offered in this city. It also attracts more locals than tourists. Top notch.
