  Had to wait 30 minutes and pay 8€ just to climb up to only half of the tower. The church was closed (on a Monday morning??) and even the guide had no idea why. Nice view from the tower, but by paying so much I would have expected to hear some interesting story and detail about the church, which didn't happen.

  We fell lucky when going to visit here and managed to get a tour of the bell tower without having to wait too long, we were took up some rickety old wooden steps to as high as we were allowed to go and led out on to a balcony and were able to take photos, the views over Amsterdam were amazing, just wish my girlfriend had gone up the last set of steps to see them, unfortunately her fear of highs got to her and when we went back down we found her clinging to an oak beam, she was laughing about it but she wouldn't budge another step any further upwards! Well worth a visit if you don't mind heights and appreciate good views!!

  Beautiful exterior, but the interior is plain and unremarkable. It looks and feels like a deserted old shopping mall, not a landmark church. I won't be going back.

  Didn't get to go up the Bell tower or take a tour of the church but the architecture is really cool and fun to see and the views are amazing around the area. Also nice that's it's along the way to the Anne Frank House so be sure to check that out after admiring the church.

  Booked the tower too late to see inside church, but tower itself was more than worth it. Guide limits the group to no more than 6 and for a good reason. Anyone who climbed up to any church towers in Western Europe will know why... It's old, steep, narrow and did I mention steep? Some parts are literally climbing up on something semblance of staircase. Definitely not for people with claustrophobia or can't squeeze into narrow place. Oh, and old buildings don't care about building code of US, so don't expect shortcuts like elevator either. Anyways, midlevel area of the tower (unsure if the top level is accessible to visitors) provides fantastic view of Amsterdam. With lively guides going through the history of the tower, it is fun.
