  Extremely nice staff and excellent location. Besides that I would not say its a 5 star hotel - there is no spa area and rooms are not even that clean or modern. Very comfortable bed!

  I stayed here on two separate occasions in April and both were positive experiences. Rooms vary significantly in size but even when I had a smaller room it was a good size. During one of my stays, my assigned room on the sixth floor smelled like cigarette smoke but as soon as I called the front desk they quickly moved me to another room on the third floor and made sure I was happy with my newly assigned room and overall stay. As a lifetime Platinum Marriott Rewards member I was also able to benefit from The Concierge Lounge and complimentary breakfast, both were great. Location wise, central station is nearby and the city is very walkable.

  Bellissimo Hotel nel centro di Amsterdam, la posizione non potrebbe essere migliore. Saranno 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei treni Amsterdam Central (e con le valige non è un vantaggio da poco). Con una passeggiata di 5 minuti si arriva in Piazza Dam o nel quartiere a luci rosse. L'albergo è pulitissimo e le stanze spaziose, cosa da non dare per scontato ad Amsterdam. In ogni stanza è presente un bollitore elettrico con le tisane/the ad uso gratuito, graditissimo visto che io ho trovato temperature decisamente sotto lo zero in marzo. Alla reception non parlano italiano, quindi dovrete sforzarvi un pochino con l'inglese, cosa non sempre facile per noi italiani. Una particolarità che mi è rimasta impressa: credo che in quest'hotel ci siano gli ascensori più veloci al mondo....

  Coolest hotel in Amsterdam. Most hotels you forget within a few weeks. Renaissance you'll remember for a long time. Very cool interior and decor. Restaurant is great and super friendly staff. This is my go-to hotel in Amsterdam going forward

  Average high end European standard. Very nice bar at bottom floor. Great staff, helpful and very nice from reception to cleaning crew. Houses a gym, pretty small but still better than average hotel gyms. Rooms very small (I had club double bed room which I upgraded to a suite due to feeling claustrophobic - even in the suite, the bathroom and bathtub is tiny though). Breakfast was decent but nothing to wrote home for. All in all, I can recommend the place due to the location, service and staff and price.
