  I look forward to classes with Herbert every time! The transition from classical piano to jazz and improvisation is quite intimidating, but with Herbert's playful method it was already a party after the first lesson. At the end of the lesson he gives a summary on film: ideal for good practice at home. Tried several jazz teachers in Amsterdam and really enthusiastic about Herbert, recommended for anyone who wants to learn to improvise with great pleasure! Location (very charming in the ridge of an old Amsterdam building) also great.

  As a classical pianist I have found a musician in Herbert who can guide me in other sound worlds. He gives me insight, demonstrates, inspires and makes me go out singing and full of ideas. Nutrition for my playing and my music enjoyment!
