::I’ve been to several locations of La Cubanita in the Netherlands and enjoyed all of them, but the one in Amsterdam doesn’t really match the quality of the other locations. It’s supposed to be all you can eat in 2,5 hours, but after the first 1,5 hour we only received two rounds of 2 portions each. The food overall was okay, but certain items really weren’t okay. The sweet potato fries were close to being burnt, the shrimps were definitely off and the beef was really chewy and overcooked. They have cocktails for 5 euros, which is a really good deal, but not if you first have to spend 15 minutes trying to get someone’s attention to order a drink. Most of the staff were nice, but the main one serving us definitely wasn’t in a good mood and was almost throwing down our plates. We had a table reserved until 19:30, but they told us at 18:50 we could order our last round until 19:00, no drinks after either. After we paid, one of the servers asked us if we enjoyed our dinner. When we mentioned that the service wasn’t really acceptable, he explained they recently got a new team and that’s why things took so long. I can understand if things take longer because of that, but this just wasn’t acceptable. When you take a look at the other reviews, slow service seems to be a recurring problem. La Cubanita is a great place if you wanna have a cheap dinner, but I’d suggest going to eithermthe location in Zaandam or even Utrecht instead.

::The restaurant really wasn't great. You can order 2 tapas per round. We had to wait 90 minutes for the first two rounds, which is just way too long. You can sit for a maximum time of two and half hours. However, the last time you can place an order is after 2 hours. Not great, if you haven't received 4 tapas after 1,5 hours. We sat there for close to two and half hours, and we only got asked what we'd like to drink once at the beginning. We asked for a new drink ourselves the second time, because they didn't. Most of the food was okay. The quesadillas weren't stuffed well. The shrimp had a weird taste and the beef was way too chewy. The sweet potato fries were kinda burnt too. The personal seemed stressed, and weren't that friendly. One of the employees put down the plates really loud, which is just unfriendly and unprofessional. After I payed, they told me they have new staff and that they couldn't handle the volume. That's no excuse, the restaurant wasn't fully packed because of the corona measures. They promised they would improve, but they also said they had problems with serving on time for quite some time. According to other reviews, this is a reoccurring problem for them. I certainly won't go back there. And I'd advise everyone to go to another restaurant. The price is good, but I'd recommend to go to La Cubanita in Utrecht. La Cubanita in Utrecht is way better. The wait times, as well as the food are good there.

::Absolutely incredible! The food is endless and delicious plus the staff are super nice and considerate. I loved almost everything and the drink prices are good too. Make sure to have a reservation, it stays packed.
