  CitizenM is the most unique hotel I've ever stayed in. Each room is small, but perfectly laid out to maximize the space. The toilets and showers are in their own separate cubicle, the TV, lights, alarm, temperature and mood are all set using an iPad and accompanying app. You check yourself in and out, everything is innovative, yet remarkably simple. I've raved about staying at this hotel since I've been! 100% recommend.

  Nice rooms. Very small but amazing. The bar is expensive for lunch time. 20€ the full menu, composed of... : a single dish !...that's it. We don't have the same definition of terms "full menu".

  No privacy in the shower. Just glass pod by the bed, there is a clear net hanging but you can see straight through it. And very limited in the toilet. Just a frosted glass pod in the middle of the room. Nice hotel and staff though. Aslong as you don't mind showering in front of the person sharing your room then it's great. 15 min train ride to Amsterdam central. Minutes from airport when you land it's great.

  Location is great, because you don't need a shuttle. They have nice entertainment options, different than the rest (own movie selection, which is actually very good as well - mostly Hollywood movies but good ones). There is little to no interaction needed with other human beings possible, if you're into that sort of thing.

  Perfect location for airport access. Check in is easy with everything automated. Downstairs bar area is a great place to relax. Friendly staff with solid food options. Room was quiet with mood lighting and a great range of movies on offer. I wish more hotels were straightforward like this place
