::Avoid this place at all-costs! Terrible service, very unfriendly and unhelpful staff who do not seem to care and/or have knowledge about the products they sell. I was very much looking forward to check out the shoes. As I never had Birkenstocks before, I chose to visit the store to get advice about the size and fit. It's not like you're buying Vans, which have an easy fit. When I asked for a size (I didn't know which size would fit me best, 37/38, narrow, wide fit), they referred me to the shoes laying around and said they all fit the same, so if one fits, it doesn't make a difference to try another one. While I was trying on the shoes, they also said I was making a 'mark' in them and that I was already leaving my footprint, practically ruining the shoes in case I would not buy them. I left the shop feeling very uncomfortable, it was an extremely unpleasant experience and I will never return. I was ‘helped’ (you really can't call it that) by a person named Jan. Note to the owner: do not ask me for more information. Just fix your attitude and the attitude of your staff, your reviews have been terrible for the past 4 years.

::The lady behind the desk acts very rude especially against non-Dutch speakers. They are not helpful at all and prefer you to leave as soon as possible. Would not recommend to buy here! Order online is better.

::The woman there was very rude, unforgettable. I was trying the shoe and she pointed out to me saying I cannot wear the show because my footprint stays!! Are you kidding me!! Despite how angry I was, I purchased the show without even trying. I think they are discriminative as soon as they notice you speak English! Terrible, don’t recommend.
