  We were staying in Amsterdam and tired of the crowds and wanted to get out. Our hotel recommended visiting Alkmaar and I'm so glad we went. We looked online for things to do and found the tour which was really good. I would absolutely recommend taking the tour and visiting Alkmaar. It's a pretty place and not crowded at all. Five stars!

  I did a city walking tour with my husband and we both really enjoyed seeing Alkmaar. It was nice that the group was small (only one other couple). I would have liked to spend more time here as it was really pretty.

  Was met at station by Jan who was very nice. Tour took just over two hours, got plenty of photos and learned a lot about Alkmaar. Tried some different cheese (different to American cheese) and Dutch pancakes with sugar (pofertes?). Had fun, thanks!

  Definitely worth doing if you are in the area. Loved the cheese market and walking around the town!
