::I am in Amsterdam for a month and needed some laundry done. I went to a self-service place where I had to pay 5 euro for a token which was then swallowed up by the washing machine's payment system before I had a chance to do my washing. It was also going to cost 2 euro to dry my washing, a total of 7 euro. I went to Wassalon de Zeepbel and although the guy there didn't understand English, he understood enough to know I wanted my washing done and to tell me a time to pick it up. An hour later, I had very clean, dry, sorted and folded washing for 10 euros. They also got out dirt from a sunhat of mine that had been there for years. Highly recommended.
