  Gezellig kroegje temidden van het drukke toeristische Zaanse Schans. Even gezellig tot rust komen. Vriendelijk personeel.

  La scelta è limitata a qualche panino, toast e piatto di affettati o formaggi. Affettati e formaggi vengono serviti senza pane! Il pane mi è stato negato anche dopo averlo chiesto due volte.. Da provare il bicchierino di liquore dolce, prodotto da loro, servito con un ciuffo di panna.

  Prima zaakje voor een hapje en een drankje. Leuke locatie vlakbij de Zaanse schans. Als aperitief kregen we een likeurtje met slagroom. De soep mocht van mij wel wat meer gebonden zijn. Verder was alles best lekker. Het personeel was vriendelijk en snel. Helaas is er geen toilet aanwezig.

  Na een wandeling geprobeert aan een tafelplaats te nemen. Maar door een zeer onbeschofte heer in de bediening die als een haan achter de toog staat weggeblazen. we mochten niet aan een tafel plaats nemen want die was voor gezinnen... de overige vrije tafel stond klem daar konden we niet zitten. Wat een onbeschofte ongastvrij ontvangst. bah.. alles voor de toerist snel geld maken. ons flesje in de winkel ook maar laten staan. wij komen niet weer.

  Really nice atmosphere and a very nice cat came and sat in my lap after we ate. However the waitress never came over unless we caught her when going past (which became impossible when she went and sat around the corner to play on her phone). The food was ok but was more like dry-ish bread with a single slice of whatever you asked for as filling. The veggie soup was also nice, as was the tea. When I said that I was disappointed with the "sliced chicken" in the sandwich (it was some reconstituted chicken slice), I literally had to explain the concept of both pulled and sliced chicken breast to the waiter (he looked like i was making it up the whole time) . Would go back for the atmosphere (and the cat), but not much else.
