::After reserving a car for our family, a BMW 1 series, that was an appropriate size for our family, my husband even downloaded the sixt app, on the promise that in doing so, we were guaranteed the specific car we booked (instead of a similar car). When going to collect the car, we were told that unfortunately the car was no longer available. This was despite the fact that there was a BMW 1 series parked out the front. This was given to a customer that arrived after us, while we were there. We were told that the car we booked was unavailable, and we could either downgrade to a 2 door car that was utterly impractical for our family of 4, because it was too small and impractical to clip our children in and out of their car seats, or upgrade to a Jaguar for a small additional cost. This "small additional cost" amounted to almost double the car hire fee, hardly a small additional cost. Frankly, considering we jumped through all their hoops to ensure we got the car we reserved, and they were unable to deliver on this, I think they have a damn cheek to charge us ANYTHING extra at all. Sixt is refusing to take any responsibility for this, and refusing to refund the difference, despite the fact that it was their mistake in the first place. The downgraded car would not have fit our family or our vacation needs, and it was the day we left on vacation, we were not going to be able to get a car anywhere else for a reasonable price. This is bait and switch marketing at its worst, and is damn unethical. DO NOT HIRE FROM THIS COMPANY. They will rip you off, when you have no other choice.

::Snelle service, kwalitatieve auto’s en vriendelijk personeel. Sixt is een prima autoverhuurbedrijf, maar benadeeld jonge mensen (onder 25) nog iets te veel naar mijn smaak. Voor iedere huurauto wordt minimaal 18 euro per dag extra gerekend omdat je nog geen 25 bent. Dit maakt dat het huren van een auto voor hen minder aantrekkelijk is.

::Niet iedereen zal misschien het positief hebben ervaren, maar ik ben erg positief over SIXT. Zowel het reserveren via de website als het contact met de service center verliepen naar wens. Wat mij het meest beviel is dat bij het afhalen van het voertuig men een huurovereenkomst krijgt waarop de schade aan de auto vermeld staat. Deze schades heb ik samen met de Sixt medewerker doorlopen. Bij aflevering samen het voertuig bekeken en alleen de schade dat op de huurovereenkomst stond werd geconstateerd. Dat geeft een goed gevoel zodat men niet achteraf welles nietes spelletje speelt. Ook de afwikkeling van de rekening achteraf verliep erg snel. Een tip: controleer altijd de olie en het waterreservoir. Wij zijn mensen en maken allemaal fouten. Conclusie: ik ga weer bij Sixt huren.

::Heel goede ervaring met Sixt.... alles was geregeld binnen een half uurtje Salice'was erg vriendelijk , al het personeel eigenlijk en op weg was ik in m'n huurauto.
