  I had a really disappointing experience at McTavish. After the positive reviews, I was really excited to get my hair cut here. What I got was overpriced, a boring haircut, and an unfriendly stylist who made it clear she was in a hurry to be finished with my cut. I felt squeezed in between clients and unwelcome. The worst part of it is, when I got home, I found the back of my hair was longer on one side than the other! For 53 euros, that is totally unacceptable. I will not be returning here, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

  McTavish hairsalon is fabulous. Our whole family goes there and we've never been disappointed! Rowan is extremely talented and understands everyone's hair, what looks good with cuts, color, etc. Daniel is also a master with color. Kirsty gives a fab cut as well. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else in Amsterdam besides McTavish.

  No other place for me! Rowan always gives me a fabulous cut. My husband swears by her as well.

  Als je een beetje 'style' in je haar wilt moet je hier zijn! Het is duurder dan een "standaard" kapper maar die knippen me altijd te kort en saai. Dit zijn vakmensen!

  Rowan is absolutely great! there is no one in the world who can understand my hair as well as her!
