  Excellent unique hotel in a great central location and quieter than expected at night. Friendly and helpful staff and very clean, fun and individual rooms! The cafe next door is hip and delicious and the breakfast special is good value. We will stay again!

  Great place. Central and quiet. Pricy and the quality off the rooms might differ (been there several times). But all rooms are good and clean.The staff is normally friendly and helpful. Breakfast not included, but you can to buy it at the next door cafe.

  Fantastic hotel with all different and themed rooms.. Really enjoyed the central location and staff were kind enough to accede to our request for a rear-facing room, which meant we had a very quiet room not directly facing on Damrak. Its a bit pricey but worth the money for the stay , and for the location.

  Hotel is pretty unique all the rooms were very different. We stayed with two other couples our room was OK nice decor. All walls were covered by curtains & the bed. The ensuite was long clean but poorly lit only one bulb. Our friends had different rooms one was very small they described it as like sleeping in a coffin as it was draped in silk even the ceiling it was inside the building with no views. The third room was again very different it was a large room with a sinister feel it had spooky looking drawings on the wall paint flicked on the floor & black paint running down the light coloured walls. It had some ornate furniture which wouldn't really be practical but looked good. Our room was street facing & noisey. There are vending machines in the corridor expensive €3 for a bottle of water. The staff were very nice I would stay again in the room I had we paid £364 for two nights plus taxes I think you could get more for your money else where but location was ideal for the city 7min walk from the central station.

  A great hotel with some good amenities right in the heart of Amsterdam. They’ve even got lifts, so getting up to your floor isn’t an issue. We stayed in a 2 star budget room so weren’t expecting much, but the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower a decent one with plenty of hot water. Sure, it could have been bigger but a) we’re in and old Amsterdam building and b) we didn’t pay a lot for our room. I’ve paid a lot more for far less in other European cities because of the old buildings. The décor was good and nicely designed. Front desk was helpful and we had access to their café for breakfast etc. Probably stay there again given the chance. The price was good and the location excellent.
