  It was ok. The bed was acceptable the t.v. did not work room had no phone. On the plus side it was warm and it was nice having a balcony though it to cold to sit out there and enjoy it to long.

  The best things about this hotel is the location and the rest was really bad. Room was so dirty and we couldn't take a shower because the taps was defect and we had to change our room with another room and that was completly small and also dirty.

  Very steep stairs, rooms or reception not accessible for people with mobility problems. Much smaller room than it looks in pictures and the only socket in the room is behind the bed's headboard, also completely unaccessible. The lamp on the nightstand is really funny because there's no way to plug it in. (UPDATE: They moved us to a better room so I'm adding a star. Anyway only two of four sockets work here, the lamp doesn't work and the ventilator? The same case; also it's really dirty.) Also the bathroom is not that clean I would like it to be. The only good thing about this place is the facade and the location. Too expensive for this poor service and you have to pay the city tax upon arrival, not when booking the place, which is not mentioned before. Definitely not going back again.

  Perfect location for Amsterdam downtown focus trip.....main tourist spots in walking distance. Old style building with small rooms, just offering what you need for a city trip. Comfy bed, small tv, wifi and most important.....clean
