We weten allemaal dat de overtoom de afgelopen jaren zich heeft ontwikkelt tot de interieur-straat van Amsterdam. Waar doorgaans het volgen van de trend de standaard is, neemt Contempera je mee naar een ander niveau. Trendy meubels die tijdloos zijn, alsof er een nieuwe categorie is ontstaan. Design met internationale allure, dat ook direct past in een Amsterdams appartement. Bij de eerste stap door de adembenemende gevel aan de overtoom, tref je de eerste kunstwerken. Modern, expressief en gewaagd. Je zou kunnen stellen dat de interieurwinkel eerder een galerij is waar toevallig ook prachtige meubels staan. De wanden hangen vol met groot artistiek werk. Maar laat je vooral adviseren door de specialist. Er is nog veel werk van ieder formaat. Kortom, laat je verleiden door dit spannende concept. De verbinding van interieur & art, onder de begeleiding van Morena Egger en haar team, is een belofte die waar wordt gemaakt. Chapeau! *****

::I bought a new apartment and I'm really not good at decorating a house and I'm not very imaginative. Furnishing my apartment was a tough task for me. Morena took me 'by the hand'. In the end we came up with a beautiful design for the furnishing of my apartment. I'm not just talking about furniture, but about the whole picture, including floor and wallpaper. Time was really taken for me, I was not expected to decide everything at once. I have made several visits to Contempera. This has resulted in a fantastically nice result. Pros: The store is zen. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. Very nice furniture in the store and beautiful art on the wall. They really take the time for you. A tip is: make an appointment. Contempera offers a total concept (when you want it). What I really like is that there is no pressure put on you. You either fall in love with a piece or you don't. You are also advised to take the time to choose pieces. You are invited to think carefully and come back later. you are taken care of, you buy a product and Contempera ensures that it is placed / hung in your home. In the end I bought a beautiful sofa and a round mirror with a diameter of 1m50. The coffee is really very nice. The employees in the business are very professional and approachable. Keep this in mind: Contempera is not Ikea. It is important that you realize this. The furniture and art all exude quality and exclusivity. What I do like is that they also sell home perfumes and similar accessories. The short version: What a nice thing!

::If you're looking for inspiration for decorating your home, you've come to the right place. It is a very nice place with art, furniture and materials that you will not find elsewhere. Morena has helped us so much to arrive at the 'ultimate' design of the living room in a number of sessions. She has good insight, is patient and critical at the right time. A very nice experience.

::Beautiful shop and beautiful art. We bought our first major work here and are very happy. Together with Sander, Margitte and Morena we spent an entire afternoon going through the hundreds of works and finally arrived at this piece from 1990, by Josep Vallibrera. The work was framed, delivered and hung for us, super service. The interior store is also recommended. Definitely go by! 5 stars !
