  Vriendelijk personeel, maar ze hebben vrijwel nooit medicatie op voorraad. Als ik een recept krijg duurt het elke keer tenminste een halve week voor de medicijnen er zijn. Daarbij is het ook altijd druk en sta je gerust tenminste tien minuten te wachten. Niet echt een ideale apotheek.

  I like the boots pharmacy in the gelderlandplein. It is connected to the gezondheidcentrum nearby. The huisart refers patients to pick up medicine here. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. When i ask questions regarding the medicine, they are always very nice to help. They also carry extensive line of la roche posay, avene, eucerin, and vichy. They used to carry indeed labs as well, it is a pity they dont do it any more.

  So I called the Boots Pharmacy A.J. Ernststraat to ask whether they sold boric acid eye wash. OMG, the person who took my call did. not. know. it..... Seriously! Now boric eyewash is still up and running! You can buy it in most drugstores. I asked if she was a certified apothecary assistant, and she confirmed. I told her she was really messing up and would she please leave the pharmacy and search for a job in a totally different sector. Twenty years ago this pharmacy was quite good. Then something happened... they were drawn into the chain store thing. And so now they take on people who have no notion of a curative mixture which is still being made AND sold. I will get myself transferred to a different pharmacy. End of story. (By the way, I could procure the boric eye wash at the DA drugstore, Olympiaplein 168 in Amsterdam.)

  Al jaren kom ik bij deze apotheek gezien de centrale ligging, echter afgelopen zaterdag hielt de apotheek dame het tegen om mij de standaard anticonceptie pil te geven. Zelfs met het gegeven herhaalrecept was dit niet mogelijk. Het zou 2dagen van te voren besteld moeten worden via de apotheek. En anticonceptie medicatie mocht niet van de leidinggevende op de zaterdag verstrekt worden. Wat een onzin en ook geen service. Ik zou dan naar een dienst apotheek in het VU Medisch Centrum moeten. De dame achter de balie heeft op mijn verzoek de gegevens gegeven het was ten slotte al eind zaterdagmiddag. Uiteraard bij de dienstapotheek mag ik het dubbele betalen, echt waar zijn we nou mee bezig. Kost bakken veel tijd en geld, niemand is hier blij mee. Conclusie is dat ik in het vervolg dus ook niet meer bij deze apotheek mijn medicatie wil halen. Wat een slechte service, doe er alsjeblieft wat mee.

  Langzaam, nooit op voorraad wat ik nodig heb. Gewoon slecht.
