I bought a second hand mamafiets here today and it a really positive experience. Reasonable price for a good quality bike and everything was sorted out and ready to go very quickly with no fuss. Ada is a very friendly, helpful woman who knows her stuff and I didn't feel ripped off just because I'm foreign. I will definitely return there for bike maintenance etc. and will recommend them to others . Great selection of bikes and accessories too.

Had a mixed experience here. Called in advance, had a decent feeling, and with all new bike shop experiences in this country, you hold your breath and hope for the best. Brought two bikes. One was repaired well. The other "couldn't be done" and when I came to pick them up basically got shouted out for expecting the other bike to be repairable. She said she was stressed and it was end of day and to sleep on it - fair enough from her perspective, but that's no excuse to berate your customer who's been polite the whole time. Came back the day after, didn't get an apology for the poor behaviour - but I let it go and took the bike back which had its chain cut for no apparent reason, eventually they added a link so at least I could ride home. I even suggested ways to fix the "unfixable bike" to which I got yet another look, this time from her colleague of "don't be ridiculous, it can't be done." I think we came to an understanding, and had different views but to me respect and expectation management is important with any exchange and honestly getting your bike fixed shouldn't cost this much emotional stress. In summary, good workmanship, but unfortunately very poor manners. Depends on mood apparently. No thanks, this is not how you treat people, especially paying customers that have been polite.
